A POS system can be in a retail shop, a checkout counter in a shop, or the location where transactions occur. Point of sale often refers to a Purchase order terminal or more generally to the hardware and software used for checkouts – the equivalent of an electronic cash register. Point of sale systems are used in supermarkets, restaurants, hotel, stadiums and casinos as well as almost any type of retail establishment.

There are some things I cant say here but. 1: no keyboard or mouse 2: only touch screen 3: secure hardware for breakens 4: steel case 5: All software is programed in house.
